In bloom

...oh I miss Nirvana. I thought of this title when I downloaded my photos & then it made me think of Nirvana....then I realized Kurt Cobain was found dead this week~ 14 years ago(had to look it up) Really that long ago?! I say this more often lately, but really time is flying by so fast! Can't believe my birthday is here again this month.

But really I am thrilled spring is here (even though it is rainy & chilly the past two days). I have brought out my summer shoes and decided it's time to get a pedicure. I have seen such cute vibrant colored purses out there that I HAVE to have =) I love the orange ones. This Lucky brand purse is cute too...I swear I saw it in green somewhere. I do have a bright yellow clutch-type that I discovered really goes with more than I thought it would. Isn't the $price divided by the times worn/used really what counts~ like that shoe commercial once said. More wish list...I asked for Photoshop for my birthday....maybe if I beg =)

Easter egg hunting we will go

Well as early as Easter was, it was a mild and beautifully sunny day! Avery enjoyed the egg hunt as Bryce took off everywhere. So nice of the Easter bunny to get Bryce a basket last minute (9:30 Saturday nite @ Target) for a whopping $1.79.... since his was forgotten at school. But I suppose Bryce would be over that basket anyways being it has his name on a blue and green basket with a ribbon border. He'll want some superhero basket, but some of them just look like Halloween pails...I do not know why I am so not for that- but I just want some kind of basket. Will have to keep my eyes open for something next year. My mom always gets the kids new baskets each year fillled! with goodies. She hides them and we have to search all around for it. But not this year for me ~ I am now too old for an Easter basket from my parents...this with much begging from my brother & I a few years ago to keep it this long. I am going to give my kids baskets forever. ha! Ryan you only have three years left!!!! =)

Looking forward to spring break soon....and warmer mornings. Is it really almost April?!

Tatiri

I came across Tatiri at Target last month. I snatched up this barrette & bracelet set. The $ is reasonable too! They have all kind of accessories. (The bracelet is a little big for Avery.) She sometimes will pull out her barrettes and then refuses them back on..then other times doen't notice.
I have been making a few barrettes ever since I did not want to spend $8 on one red bow for Avery's Christmas Eve outfit. Still learning...I'll have to post some. There are so many felt hairclips out there that are so darn cute~ they're hard to past up. .....maybe this summer I'll have more time to learn new techniques.

jobs & ladybugs

ahhh...did not sign my contract for next year and went to a job fair at the county I want to teach. No leads as they are still waiting on inter-county transfers.=( It'll be so sad to leave my school though...but I need a job!!!!

But...I have a not so good picture to post of some of the favors from Miss Addi's ladybug birthday party. What a goody bag it was- a backpack personalized with their names! As Bryce put it {she is the best little girl in the world} The kids had tons of fun playing & I ate much yummy food AND the moistest cake ever....that thing had three big layers with a ladybug perched on top. Even Addi's dress had smocked ladybugs!

Bryce's first practice is Thursday...Paul is his team's assistant coach! and daylight savings is Sunday. hooray!!!!!
