I am back to work Monday, tho we are furloughed until Wednesday. So much to do with opening a new school. It never all gets done, but the important things {like putting up Cat in the Hat magnets from Target's $1 bin} get accomplished.
....love lavender. I don't know why I hadn't thought of this before..Paul had dried some lavender and then boiled it in a kettle. The smell was wonderful throughout our abode,,ahhh we can let summertime linger
{the lanterns were only out for Paul's birthday movie night... & again forgot to turn them on}

I can't believe it is almost that time of the year. Lavender is great. I love sitting on the porch and smelling it in the wind.
oh, august! where did you sweep in from? we've yet to start our vacation here-headed out tomorrow to cali and then to vermont. your post fills me with that bittersweet feeling i always get in septmeber: the possibilities of a new year with the longing for summer to linger.
p.s. glad "buy ice cream" is on your list.
already ? Oh, children are back to school begining of September in France. So we are still enjoying french roads, castles... and ice cream :) I love lavender too so much ! These little lanterns are very lovely.

School already?!! I can't believe it. Oooo lavender is so yummy. My favorite smell right now is my Lemon Lavender Scentsy candle! YUM.
Ice cream is always on my list :)
