My birthday weekend was fun...& I am stuffed!! I have eaten way too much and can say there is nothing left I am not craving because I have eaten it this weekend! Seriously I have to type it out it is so crazy. All my favs...pizza(real & pita), lattes, chocolate covered strawberries, fresh peanut butter, ice cream, cake, waffles witt whipped cream, margaritas, pomegrante mojito, Riesling, hummus, chocolate chip cookies, cheese & olives, cheese dip, chicken burritos ..I have all eaten up. Now my punishment is jury duty. & tight jeans.. Who cares~ I'll do it again 2morrow with my leftovers =) =)
I got to go out with my parents & brother and spend time with them. Bryce has been exposed to Wii...oh no he is already addicted. I also got more cute things shopping in Athens and thanks to my sweet husband & family I get to own Photoshop!!!!! Now I really must buy a book (or 3) =)


{Check out Sara Anthony's blog..we had a photoshoot with her the other weekend and I am thrilled with her photographs!! We do not have any family photos of us {not even any ones from the holidays} so I thought I needed to change that. Now we do =) Now I have to pick ones to order...I have like 15 that are my favs!}



Here is one my sweeties picking strawberries. We hardly had to move down the rows the plants were so full of ripe berries! I can't wait to get more they are soooo good.

Earth day is everyday!

...who's birthday??, no Happy Earth Day! I swear back in 8th grade I was such a Save the Earth fanatic! My friend Leigh & I made tapes of our parents' 60's music, covered our walls (& ceiling) with Save the Earth! posters, Reuse Reduce Recycle!... bought only dolphin-free tuna...joined Surfrider, WWF, adopted a whale, boycotted L'oreal.... ahhh. Well I believe I am still somewhat eco-friendly and my family tries do our part. I could do more though, but I love that Bryce is into recycling...so maybe I am rubbing off on him. There is so much Go green hype nowadays...but ever how annoying some of it may be, it is encouraging that people are trying to do something. I think that we all can make a difference in this world for our children's future {& great-grandchildren's future} even with the little things

sunshine, family & pizza!

We have been having such beautiful weather lately!!!I started on my birthday celebration already going out with my close friend Missy...& shopping, shopping! Sunday we all romped around at the park, had a family photoshoot {more to come} outside and ate at Fellini's ~ yum! =)

now I had a job interview too {fingers crossed}

oh..Avery's first pigtails I meant to post =) I need to work on those piggies though! I am so curious what year her dress is made. 83? The tag looks old, but no clue on the brand. The pictures inside came out of focus..hello auto/manual. Sometimes I just don't know...

It's just another manic Monday...

...I wish it were Sunday....ok, really where has Spring gone??? It was cold today~ jackets and all. It goes well with my caramel vanilla latte ala Coffeemate tho! Sad to have to wake up & go back to work today. Oh well 30 days left of school, but who's counting? =)

{Warmer thoughts} I have to post again about Matilda Jane Clothing. Avery is showing off the Casey halter top from the spring line. Avery gets such compliments on her MJC, righfully so they are so darn cute!! Denise {idea girl extraordinaire} has brought back her boys' line The Mighty Acorns with some new pieces. Oh boy check them out...I hope she goes with this for her fall line too. Ahh have to cross my fingers again =)

Spring-ing

oh..Spring break is about over. Back to work Monday. Now thoughts on to summer vacation =) we are planning a trip to the beach on the Gulf. Just the four of us this summer. I have been to beaches on the Pacific coast, Atlantic, & the Gulf of Mexico...the Gulf beaches are my fav....In the US that is {not counting Negril which is hard to compare} Avery being able to walk this year will make it much better this time..no crawling in sand =)

It was a fun, but busy spring break. Did I even get anything done around the house...course not. Did shop some & do errands with out having to rush like after work. Helped {ok pinned & cut fabric} my mom sew a dress for Avie. I downloaded a trial for Photoshop! OMG so much stuff to use...I need to read a book on it. & So happy to have gotten together with Julie & Connor and Missy & her her two sweet ones! Wish there was more time to see more,,, Well we get to meet up with Grandma Alice tomorrow!

Coca-Cola

or as Bryce used to call it...Coca-Coke. Anyone(almost!) in Atlanta is a Coke fan. My fav is Sprite or Sprite Zero with lime slices lately. We finally visited the new World of Coca-Cola Museum this past weekend. Liked the Andy Warhol collection of Coke drawings & of course the grand finale...tasting the Coke products around the world. Then we were off to the Thrashers's last game for the season. My cousin James' team, the Blackhawks, finished their season Sunday...no playoffs tho. Soooooo happy it's spring break. some time off =) I have so much to do around the house, but I am off to take the kids to grandma & papa's house.
